It’s New Orleans: Happy Hour

Hosted ByGrant Morris & Andrew Duhon

HAPPY HOUR is a cocktail-fueled 60 minutes of random conversation with folks who have nothing in common, other than being New Orleanians in a bar. Featuring extraordinary New Orleans musicians playing live, host Grant Morris and sidekick deluxe Andrew Duhon.

Satan and The Gift of Happiness – Happy Hour – It’s New Orleans

If you can commit 60 minutes to listen to this Happy Hour all the way through, your life will be forever changed. This is not some sort of idle claim, or a pitch for money, or a time-share condo. It’s spiritual enlightenment. The real deal. Just like you could spend your entire life searching for, devoting every waking prayer and meditation. Forget all that. This is science, bro! Or not.

rick montgomery

Meet Dr Rick Montgomery. Rick’s a scientist. If you think you have a clue what goes in the mind of a brainiac physicist, you’re about to be corrected. A lot of it’s not science. Coming from a home-schooled background of a strict Southwest Louisiana church sect which believes the Earth is only 6,000 years old, Rick was super smart and realized if he didn’t believe this stuff he better figure what he did believe that makes more sense. Using super physics brain power to make sense of the metaphysical world leads to a path of possible enlightenment for the whole planet.

Hold that thought, stick with it.

redell hearn

Redell Hearn is also a doctor. she has a Ph.d. and is a leading authority on museums of all types – from slavery on Goree Island in Senegal, to the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Alabama. For real.

What are the chances of two super-brainiacs meeting in a bar on Freret Street in New Orleans? Slim, let’s face it. What are the chances that BOTH these brainiacs in different fields have spent using their respective prodigious mental abilities to work on spiritual enlightenment?

You see how this is coming together?

How about we throw in some real New Orleans music?

john lisi

John Lisi leads his band, Delta Funk, through the most demanding of joyful New Orleans music so filled with riffs and musical twists and turns that the effervesence sounds effortless. Although his music is tight John’s life is a little looser, so it’s going to come as a shock to you when you get to minute 60 to discover that John Lisi changes your world. Forever. You don’t have to go to work again. Life as we know it is over. In the greatest way.
