The international fad for being locked up in a room with strangers, friends, or co-workers is called "Escape" games and people are playing them from China to Chinatowns.
In New Orleans Andrew Preble is pioneering the craze with a game called Escape My Room. In this version of the game players have to know something about New Orleans history to get themselves out of the room.
